Details of Report

A VFC aircraft was observed parking in a spot without chocks and tie downs. The aircraft was lefted without being chocked or propeller leveled. Also observed numerous shutdown checklist omissions such as: control lock not inserted, propellers not leveled and avionics switches and transponders left on.

Follow shutdown checklists.

VFC Response

Safety Report was submitted to the Safety Committee and Control#100 was recorded.  The safety committe has put a due date of June 7th, 2015 for a corrective action plan to be developed.
